Eric Wyancko – Mr. Wyancko is the President and CEO of Black Peak Construction. Eric has over 12 years of experience in the acquisition, development, construction, management, and marketing of real estate with a primary emphasis on commercial mixed-use, entertainment, restaurant, and high-density residential construction. Eric’s previous experience includes 5 years building $100 million plus construction projects with J.E. Dunn Construction out of Kansas City where he constructed the Argosy Casino, Commerce Trust Office Building, and Belmar Blocks 6 and 7. Upon leaving J.E. Dunn in 2004, Eric took an entrepreneurial path starting a general partnership in Denver, Colorado focusing on commercial and residential development, financial services, and hotel/restaurant investment. Eric’s extensive background in construction management and real estate development provide him with a skill set to conceive, finance, design, build, and manage complicated real estate and business endeavors. Mr. Wyancko has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Kansas State University (2000) and a Masters Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver (2004).
Some of the commercial development projects Eric has been a part of include the Commerce Trust Building in Kansas City, MO, a 20 million dollar historical renovation of a 20-story office building and bank originally built in 1908. The Jet Hotel, serving as general partner of the five million dollar, twenty room boutique hotel in Lower Downtown Denver; he was responsible for the addition and renovation of the lobby, lower floor lounge, and restaurant expansion. Argosy Casino, a 60 million dollar expansion and renovation of the casino including the addition of new offices, five new restaurants, and a 60,000 square foot casino floor. Belmar Block 7, a 40,000 million dollar mixed-use new construction project of Block 7 of Belmar in Lakewood Colorado. The project consisted of building a parking garage, 3 mixed-use retail/residential buildings and a movie theater for Harkins Theaters. Belmar Block 6, a 20 million dollar new construction project that included a new events center with bowling alley, meeting/convention space, retail shops, and office space. Additionally this project included a 60,000 SF outdoor courtyard with seasonal ice-skating rink and several outdoor interactive fountains.
Matthew Redick - For over 10 years, Matt has worked in the construction industry in the Denver area market. With experience working as a framer and general laborer during the summer for several years during high school, Matt decided to pursue a career in the construction industry. He obtained a BS in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Management in 1998 from The University of Colorado at Boulder, and immediately went to work for a major national retail general contractor upon graduation. Working first as a project engineer and later as a project manager over the next five years, Matt received further experience in estimating, project management, and field supervision. Matt has completed several projects in the last few years for such local and national clients as The Limited, Foot Locker, International House of Pancakes, Flatiron Crossing Mall, Westcor, Macerich, Autonation, Sunrise Assisted Living, Lucky Brand Jeans, Aldo Shoes, Sanrio, Chinese Gourmet, Marriott Resorts, Brunswick Home & Billiard, Cingular Wireless, T-Mobile, Alltel Communications, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Railyard Restaurant & Saloon, Alaya Yoga Spa, and Massage Envy.
